Anyways, this reminded me that in some older posts, I talked about how I was having a blast at Aqua Lounge in Bocas del Toro and promised more info to follow, and then never wrote anything. (oops!). Well, I'll fix that now.
Aqua Lounge is an amazing hostel in Bocas Del Toro on Isla Caranero, a $1 boat ride from the main island, Isla Colon. (you could swim it easily if it weren't risky due to the boat traffic). This place was perfect for me. It has free wireless, tons of hammock, a swimmin hole cut into the deck, and a 10-foot high diving board to jump off of into the afore mentioned swimming hole, and even free pancakes and toast. As those of you who know me have probably guessed, my favorite part was the diving board, so I can feed my need to jump off of high things into water. Pics and a movie below:
