Back to the scene of the crime

As you may recall, the last time I was in Tamarindo, I had an unfortunate run-in with a local pickpocket. I will now be returning to the scene of the crime. On my way up to Nicaragua I'll be making a quick stop in Tamarindo to surf, hang out with a high school buddy, and eat at the Taco Stop, one of my favorite restaurants I've found on this trip. (can't wait for that quesadilla!)

This time I'm a lot better prepared (ie, more suspicious) - I no longer carry any credit/bank cards in my wallet, and I carry only between $30 and $40 in cash. Oh, and my wallet is now attached to me by a chain. So, hopefully my second stay in Tamarindo won't end the way the first one did!

My new security system. Bonus - it makes me feel like the cool kids in high school. . .

STOP! for delicious tacos! (and burritos and quesadillas)
